fractured, stagnant, unintelligible fragments
the means justify the ends so exquisitely
searching for predestination in a world with no correlation
cobbling confirmation so proficiently

sewing mouths together in a chorus of puppetry
seeking to mask a lack of experience
choosing but a slice of reflected light
aloft, you wield the sword of ignorance

a world forced into your sight
fearing what will not be removed
cornered by truth, confronted by time
mourning what you never had to lose

a whirlwind of denial
set upon at every side
seeing no attack in place
tethered to the fear
information erodes the shield
leaving an exposure
trying to secure
placement in the past
the world fights to pass you by
inflated ego
denying weakness
perpetuation of the lie

regression is sought
one side to choose
a deflated, childish reaction
the knotted rope of inferior thought
obsolescence, the only destination
