I wonder through the woods, again on the hunt
Alone with no help from my friends
I left my role as protector of the town to continue the search for the Crites
CRITES!!!

I happen upon some children, to them I seem quite mad
I warn them to always be on guard
By the time I speak these words the attack has begun
Unknowingly they have fallen into total peril

Having followed these people back to their homes
The Crites now unleash their hunger
If I do not arrive in time
These families will be lost

The Crites continue their lust for blood
Others in the building fall
The survivors scramble to the roof
To imagined safety they climb

Ever higher, they ascend. Clinging like rats to the beams
Continuing to search a way out above, escaping the flames, smoke, & teeth
The Critters, they laugh and toy with their prey. Enjoying the fear & the meat
Their chaos is total, destroying the homes of the people they eat

I arrive with weapons made by hand, moving from one room to the next
I have killed many Crites before, I mean to kill the rest
Through fire & teeth I maintain my edge, eradicating the nest
As a Bounty Hunter, none can deny, I remain the best!

A pod crashes down from over me,
Ug: I request the two eggs that survive!
Reluctantly, I relinquish the spawn
But now I'm trapped inside!
